クッキー
Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies the Tunisian Kendo League ("the League", "we") uses on the kendo.tn website, why we use them, and how you can change or withdraw your choice at any time. We keep cookies to a minimum and never use them for advertising.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Some measurement tools work without any cookie at all. Below we describe exactly what runs on this site and on what basis.
This page is information about our cookie practices, not legal advice. For the wider picture of how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
What we use
What this site uses
The site uses two measurement tools and nothing for advertising. One is consent-gated and sets cookies; the other is cookieless and needs no consent.
Google Analytics 4 (consent-gated)
- Cookies set:
_gaand_ga_*. - Purpose: audience measurement — understanding how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
- Duration: up to about 13 months.
- Privacy: IP addresses are anonymized; we do not use the data for advertising.
- When it loads: only after you accept. If you decline, GA4 and its cookies never load.
Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless)
- Cookies set: none.
- Purpose: a privacy-preserving, aggregate beacon that measures page views without identifying you or tracking you across sites.
- When it loads: always — because it sets no cookies and stores no cross-site identifier, it needs no consent.
YouTube embeds
Homepage videos use the privacy-enhanced no-cookie domain and set no cookies unless you play a video.
Consent
The consent model
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. We make refusing as easy as accepting.
- Equal choice. The banner offers Accept and Decline with equal prominence — no pre-ticked boxes, no dark patterns.
- Consent-gated tools wait. Google Analytics 4 does not run until you choose Accept. If you decline, only the cookieless Cloudflare beacon runs.
- Your choice is stored locally. Your decision is kept in your browser
under
localStorage["kendotn-consent"]and is not shared with anyone. Clearing your browser storage resets it and the banner reappears.
Your control
How to change or withdraw consent
You can change your mind at any time, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
- Use the "Cookie preferences" control in the site footer to reopen the choice and switch analytics on or off whenever you like.
- Clear your browser storage for kendo.tn to erase the stored choice; the consent banner will appear again on your next visit.
- When you withdraw consent, Google Analytics 4 stops running and its cookies are no longer used.
