The first edition of the Tunis International Kendo Open will be held in November 2025, marking a historic milestone for the development of kendo in Tunisia and the wider region. Organized on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Tunisia and Japan, this inaugural event will bring together practitioners and competitors from diverse backgrounds to celebrate the art of the sword, exchange knowledge, and embody the values of respect, discipline, and perseverance that define kendo.
Beyond the competition itself, the Tunis International Kendo Open aspires to serve as a cultural bridge and a landmark in the growth of the international kendo community.
